UGC video ads: how they work and how to get the best ones

What you get

Make a UGC video

1. 1Open UGC video in the Studio and add your product (link, photos or a store product).
2. 2Choose the language and, for Arabic, the dialect of the country your buyers live in.
3. 3Tick the selling angles: Problem → solution, One-product ritual, Creator testimonial. Each ticked angle is its own video, so nothing is ticked by default.
4. 4Pick the length (15 or 30 seconds), the voice style (Easy-going, Energetic, Calm and warm), captions on or off, and an optional call to action such as “Order now, pay on delivery”.
5. 5Press Write the scripts (1 credit). Read and edit the three scripts; only the ones you keep are filmed.
6. 6Press Generate. Videos take a few minutes; you can leave the page and find the result in History.

Costs

If one of several videos fails, the others are delivered and only the failed one is refunded, automatically.

Tips for better videos

• Use clear, close photos of the real product from the front, on a plain background.
• Write the call to action buyers in your market respond to (for cash on delivery: “Order now, pay when you receive it”).
• Test two or three angles: different angles win with different audiences.
• If you change settings after writing the scripts, rewrite them so the video follows the new settings.
